Presentation

The Computer Aided Design Laboratory is located in building B, room B307 and is used for all applied laboratory works of our department.

Activity

The Computer Aided Design Laboratory serves the Bachelor cycle and the masters cycle for vehicle simulations and computer aided design.

Study cycles

The Computer Aided Design Laboratory serves the Bachelor cycle and the masters cycle for:

- Automotive Engineering

- Transport and Traffic Engineering

- Vehicle and Environment

- Road Transport Logistics

Equipment

The Computer Aided Design Laboratory has a network of 18 working stations and a protection system that runs specialized programs on vehicle simulations (ecquiped with classic powertrain, hybrid powertrain or electric powertrain), computer aided design and software specialized on fleet management.

Software that was provided by AVL List GmbH, Graz, Austria and Ricardo INC, USA based on a University partnership. These software are: AVL Boost / AVL Boost RT, AVL Excite, AVL Hydsim, AVL Fire, AVL Cruise, AVL Impress Chart, AVL Design Explorer, Ricardo Wave.
